Team Solent Kestrels are thrilled to welcome back Isa Brandon for his second season at the club, as he becomes Coach Guymon’s first signing ahead of the new season.
Brandon, who had previous stints in both the NBL and BBL with Derby, Glasgow and Plymouth, had himself a standout season for TSK last time out. He would lead the scoring charge for the Kestrels, posting averages of 23.5 ppg, 9.4 rpg, 3.7 apg and 2.8 spg across the Division 2 campaign last season.
Whilst Kestrels title and play off bids fell agonisingly short, Brandon would go on to be named in the NBL Division 2 All South Conference Team of the Year, alongside his Defensive Player of the Year Award. Kestrels fans will hope their star man can deliver on both ends of the floor again for the upcoming 24/25 season.
TSK Head Coach Matt Guymon gave his thoughts on bringing Isa back to his squad for the upcoming season, "We are delighted to retain the services of Isa for the 2024/25 season, he was a fantastic role model within our community and junior programme last season. His impact across the board on court was also vital for our success last season and we are looking forward to having him back to build on last seasons foundations."
